LWVCT - In light of documented attacks on our election systems, would you vote to require and fund all states to replace paperless electronic voting machines with voting machines that use and count paper ballots?
JR - Absolutely. The Gold Standard the U.S. State Department uses to determine if foreign elections are free and fair is hand counted paper ballots. why do voters here in the U.S. deserve less than voters in the "third world"? By the way, did you know that the verifiable paper trail system adopted by Connecticut when our old voting machines were scrapped was a Green Party initiative?

LWVCT - How will you ensure access to medical care and affordable health insurance with reasonable benefits for all Americans?
JR - I support single payer. There is zero economic justification for not doing this. The real economic reasons are complex and counter-intuitive, and I don't have space to go into them here. (see the work of Warren Mosler and Stephanie Kelton) Suffice it to say, the economic investment made in improving the health of the U.S. population will be paid back in real economic terms and in a lot of other ways.

LWVCT - Will you sponsor and support legislation to require disclosure of campaign-related activities by PACs, SuperPACs and other "dark money" organizations?
JR - Yes! one of the reasons I am a member of the Green Party is we reject anything that even resembles the "dark money" you describe. It is a form of corruption we need to eliminate from our electoral process.
